Server rack security system


Racks are available with either four or two vertical posts. Four-post racks allow for mounting rails to support the equipment at the front and rear. These racks may be open in construction (similar to the traditional open-style two-post racks), or may be enclosed by front and/or rear doors, side panels, or tops.

Enclosure (or chassis) performs many of the non-core computing services found in most computers.These Server rack security system are of Non-blade systems typically use bulky, hot and space-inefficient components, and may duplicate these across many computers that may or may not perform at capacity. 



These components offer higher performance and reliability at a correspondingly higher price. Two-post racks are most often used for telecommunication installations. ECC memory devices that detect and correct errors are used; non-ECC memory is more likely to cause data corruption.[

Servers often run for long periods without interruption and availability must often be very high, making hardware reliability and durability extremely important. Although servers can be built from commodity computer parts, mission-critical enterprise servers are ideally very fault tolerant and use specialized hardware with low failure rates in order to maximize uptime, for even a short-term failure can cost more than purchasing and installing the system.

The tapped-hole rack was first replaced by clearance-hole in locking systems.(Round Hole, Round Unthreaded Holes Versa Rail  racks. The holes are large enough to permit a bolt to be freely inserted through without binding, and bolts are fastened in place using cage nuts. 



 For eg., it may take only a few minutes of down time at a national stock exchange to justify the expense of entirely replacing the system with something more reliable. Servers may incorporate faster, higher-capacity hard drives, larger computer fans or water cooling to help remove heat, and uninterruptible power supplies that ensure the servers continue to function in the event of a power failure.
